Projects

Create and manage SEO projects for each domain you want to track and optimize.

Projects are the foundation of DraftAI Studio. Each project represents a website or domain you want to optimize for search engines.

Creating a Project

To create a new project, click the Add Project card in your dashboard. You'll be guided through a setup wizard:

  1. Domain details - Enter the root domain (e.g., example.com), target country, and language
  2. Subscription - Choose a plan for keyword tracking
  3. Competitors - Select competitor domains to monitor
  4. Keywords - Choose initial keywords to track (with AI suggestions available)

Projects are automatically named after your domain for easy identification.

Project Dashboard

Each project has its own dashboard showing key metrics and quick access to features:

  • Recommendation of the Day - AI-generated actionable recommendation highlighted for immediate attention
  • Rank Tracker Summary - Average position, visibility score, and keyword movement trends
  • Recent Articles - Latest AI-generated content with quick access to the editor
  • Site Audit Health - Current site health score and issue summary
  • Recent Events - Project activity timeline
  • Quick Actions - Fast access to common tasks

Project Settings

Access project settings from the sidebar. Available options include:

  • Subscription - Manage billing and plan selection
  • Brand Settings - Configure brand identity, voice, personality, and target audience for AI-generated content
  • Competitors - Add or remove competitor domains to monitor
  • Blog API - Enable public API access for published articles and configure blog URL
  • Danger Zone - Delete project and all associated data

Switching Between Projects

Use the project switcher dropdown at the top of the sidebar to navigate between your projects. The switcher displays all projects with their domain names and favicons, plus a quick link to create new projects.

Best Practice

Create separate projects for different domains or subdomains. This ensures accurate tracking and prevents data from getting mixed up. For example, keep blog.example.com and shop.example.com as separate projects.
